Buttercup Meets Romance

Hey, you guys Kaoru here; or as some of you know me Power Buttercup. I feel like telling you about how I started feeling that thing called love (ugh...I can't believe I said that word. XP) Well, anyway I was at the arcade playing the new fighting game that they just hocked up; when I got the high score I did a little victory  dance. Then all of a sudden a guy puts in a coin to play against me I thought easy win; I was so wrong it was really tough and through it all we ended up tying. When I turned around to say good game I found myself staring straight into the face of Butch one of the Rowdy Ruff Boys. He smirked and said "That was a good game; you did really well for a girl." To say I was angry would be an understatement I was furious "Hey, who do you think you are a girl can do anything a boy can do. In fact they can do it better!" I yelled while pointing a finger at him. "Oh, really then let's put it to the test." Said Butch with a superior smile on his face; "Bring it on!" I yelled in his face.  He just smiled and said "So how about we have a skateboarding contest then." I looked at him with a smirk on my face; "Alright let's get it on." I said as we walked out of the arcade and to the skate park. When we got there we picked a group of people that were there to be the judges; then we started the contest to prove ourselves. It was intense we were tied and the sun was starting to set the last move would decide it. I went into the half-pint and started to do one aides and grinds. When I was about to do my finishing move which was going in the air and doing a flip. I managed to get in the air and as I was in the middle of my flip I lost my grip on the board; I started to fall toward the ground, closing my eyes for the pain I knew was going to happen. But instead of the pain I was expecting I felt two arms circle around me and a soft thud to the ground; I opened my eyes to see that a body was underneath me instead of the concrete of the skate park.  I look up into the person's eyes to find that it was Butch that had saved me. I felt my face getting hot as he helped me to my feet; "Are you alright?" he asked as he looked me in the eyes with what looked like concern.  I was about to nod my head yes when felt my ankle throbbed with pain; he spotted my flinch and before I knew it I was in his arms like those sissy girls in Momoko's love movies.  He was yelling at people as he went out of the half-pint still holding me in his arms. All I could hear was the sound of his heart beat as the paramedics came running toward us; when they tried to take me out of his arms he wouldn't let them till I put a hand on his arm.  He looked into my eyes and I saw him relax as he let the paramedics take me to the ambulance; I saw him being held back as they got me in the back of the vehicle. I raised my hand and waved bye I saw him smile raising his hand; I smiled at him as the doors were closed.  I dropped my smile when I couldn't see him anymore; why do I have to feel this tinkling in my heart when he smiled at me. Argh I hate this cause I know that we'll never be he's the enemy and only heartache would follow if I feel for him. I feel the tears trickle down my face as the paramedics bandage my ankle; but I know it's not from the pain that the teardrops fall.
